beginning

My name is Jadie Ellis and I'm from Norwalk, Iowa.  I have an open major, but plan to take classes in order to get into the school of dentistry at the University of Iowa.

I'm excited to begin this class because I like to learn about health and exersize and along with learning about such topics, comes food.  I love to eat, like every other person, but I know that there are always healthy alternatives to foods.  I also try to be as active as possible.  I was a cheerleader in highschool and wouldn't consider myself the most athletic person around but I always had gym memberships and used them atleast three times a week.  So far at Iowa State University, the food has been pretty good. You have to watch what you eat, like every other place.  One thing I will say is I can't complaing about the food considering the highschool cafeteria food was pretty questionable..
