An entire week off to do nothing but eat, sleep, and relax. How amazing!
My Thanksgiving holiday, and break could not have been any better. On the actual holiday, I went to my boyfriends Thanksgiving at noon, and then rushed to mine at two. It's always interesting to attend another family's Thanksgiving and see what they do for tradition and what types of food they eat. At my boyfriends, it was tradition to have toast with some sort of crab meat on it and soup, along with the normal Thanksgiving foods. I'm not a fan at all of any type of seafood, but to be polite I tried the toast. To my surprise it actually wasn't bad, and the wild rice soup served along with it was decedent. I tried not eat too much because I knew that in only a short amount of time I would have to be eating again.
As we finished our plates and took some last minute pictures, Nick and I rushed out the door. We sped to my aunts house where my side of the family would gather for Thanksgiving. Walking in, I could already smell the perfectly cooked ham, and see all the deserts displayed on the table. This was awesome, we showed up just in time to eat..if only I hadn't overeaten at Nick's grandparents. This didn't stop me though! I had an entire plate of food and felt like I might explode. After saying goodbye to everyone, I went to my own home and slept for two hours.
